SAFE is a community organization with the goal of Empowering individuals with disabilities and their families by promoting human rights and fostering inclusivity. SAFE is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life and advocating for a society where everyone can thrive. SAFE engages in various community activities such as parent education, support, advocacy, and participation. SAFE provides community resources to increase service accessibility and support social participation. These efforts aim to enhance the abilities of individuals and families while fostering positive changes within the community.

Welcome to the SAFE (Supporting Agency for Family Empowerment) website.

SAFE is a community organization aimed at promoting the rights of individuals with disabilities and their families while fostering inclusivity and empowering them. SAFE works to enhance equitable opportunities for individuals with disabilities and their families, addressing diverse needs such as language, disability, culture, and economic challenges. We are dedicated to helping Korean American families with disabilities by developing programs for family empowerment, created by social work and special education professionals, as well as providing and disseminating various resources. Additionally, we aim to offer psychosocial support to families of individuals with disabilities through support groups. Our efforts will also continue to focus on fostering a correct understanding of disabilities and reducing stigma.
